Data-driven impact in hospitals Value4Health

Value4Health was founded in 2019 based on one clear conviction: hospitals can improve both the quality of care and operational performance when they better understand and use their data in a targeted manner.

The challenge

However, as with many SaaS players in healthcare, the challenge lies not in the substantive strength of the solution, but in translating it into hospital reality. Performance management affects medical, operational and administrative layers simultaneously — precisely the context in which decisions are multidisciplinary, risk-averse and strongly practice-driven.

To this end, Value4Health developed the SLIM Framework (Spot, Learn, Implement & Measure), a methodological approach to identifying inefficiencies, understanding their causes and embedding measurable improvements in practice.

Expertise that connects Our approach

Living Stone supports Value4Health in strategically marketing that impact, without compromising the complexity or credibility of the content.

Reference marketing in healthcare: from evidence to trust

In hospital environments, traditional product marketing rarely works on its own. Decisions are made by teams, not individuals, and rely heavily on trust and recognition.
For Value4Health, this meant that their added value only really convinces when hospitals get answers to questions such as:

  • Does this work in a hospital like ours?
  • What concrete impact has been achieved?
  • How did the implementation go across disciplines?
  • What do fellow healthcare professionals say about this?

In this context, reference marketing is not a communication tool, but a strategic lever. Well-founded customer cases shorten sales cycles, reduce perception risk and make abstract promises concrete.

AZ Groeninge: impact of Value4Health in practice

Together with Value4Health, Living Stone developed an in-depth customer reference on the implementation of the Value4Health solution at AZ Groeninge.

Through interviews with an anaesthetist, OR planner, nurse and medical director, among others, not only was the platform highlighted, but above all the organisational change that accompanied it.

The case shows how the occupancy rate of the operating theatre rose from 75% to 82% — a structural efficiency gain of almost 11%. At least as important was the qualitative impact: better collaboration between disciplines because everyone worked with a single shared, validated dataset.

For Value4Health, this reference was crucial in demonstrating that their solution is not only analytically strong, but also supported in everyday hospital practice.

The case was developed as:

  • a sales support e-book
  • a substantive core for broader online and offline communication
  • a video focusing on the voices from the hospital itself

Living Stone structured this story in such a way that it is recognisable to other hospitals, without resorting to commercial claims.

Thought leadership as an extension of credibility

Reference marketing works best when it is embedded in a broader content positioning. That is why Value4Health’s reputation was further strengthened through targeted thought leadership content.

This included articles on:

  • the Value4Health Cockpit
  • data credibility as a prerequisite for performance management

This content underpins why performance initiatives only succeed when healthcare professionals have confidence in the data used — a theme that directly connects with their daily reality.

Living Stone monitored the content and ensured that practical experience, methodology and academic references reinforced each other. In this way, we offer Value4Health the opportunity to grow into a credible discussion partner on healthcare analytics and performance, rather than a traditional software supplier.

Structuring for scalability as a SaaS player

To further increase Value4Health’s commercial clout, we structured their offering in terms of content and technology within a modular data sheet framework.

For each module, we define functionalities, KPI definitions, data sources used, integrations with existing hospital software (EPD, planning, HR, data warehouse), technical requirements and governance principles.

From this central structure, Value4Health can publish consistent website content, develop uniform sales presentations and align marketing and business development in terms of content.

This step — from expertise to reproducible product documentation — is typical for SaaS companies that want to scale up in a highly regulated B2B market such as healthcare.

Building reputation in French-speaking Belgium

An additional strategic pillar is the expansion into Wallonia and French-speaking Brussels, where Value4Health’s reputation is still in full development.

Living Stone supports this growth through:

  • bilingual positioning
  • consistent LinkedIn communication in Dutch and French, including targeted campaigns and Google Ads
  • localisation of thought leadership content
  • monitoring of uniform brand positioning

In new markets, credibility building is paramount. References and substantive expertise are the gateway to discussions with hospitals that are not yet familiar with the brand.

From strong solution to sustainable growth

The collaboration between Living Stone and Value4Health goes beyond content production alone. It shows how a SaaS provider in healthcare can grow through:

  • strategic reference marketing
  • substantiated thought leadership
  • structured product information
  • consistent market development across regions

This anchors Value4Health’s core promise: using data to improve hospital performance — commercially and strategically, without compromising on substantive depth.
